Instructions on updating to Destinator 6 for Digitalk Smart Navi GPS

 **NOTE: Digitalk can offer a 1 GB or 2 GB SD card with Destinator 6 preloaded.

1. If using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Linux, please skip to Step 2. For all other Windows users (95/98/2000/ME) please continue this step. 

If you do not already have some form of archive extracting program on your computer, such as WinZip, WinRar, IZArc etc, please download IZArc and install it by double-clicking the installation file and following the instructions. This is to open the compressed .ZIP format archive attatched. 

2. If installing Destinator 6 on to a new SD card, please skip to Step 3. If updating from your existing Destinator version 5, please continue this step.

**NOTE: Digitalk highly recommends the use of a new SD card, to ensure a failsafe recovery option. If you decide to use a new SD, you will need to continue to Step 3 instead.

If updating your existing Destinator version 5, please download the update from here, double click it, and then extract all files to a desired location.

Attach a card reader to your computer, or use an inbuilt one, and insert the SD card which came with the Digitalk Smart Navi.

Copy and paste all the files and folders extracted from the .ZIP file into the the folder “DestinatorApps” on your SD card, and click “Yes to All” when asked in order to over-write any files or folders already existing. 

3. If installing Destinator 6 on to a new SD card, please download the update from here, double click it, and then extract all files to a desired location.

Attach a card reader to your computer, or use an inbuilt one, and insert the SD card you wish to use in the Digitalk Smart Navi.

Copy and paste the files extracted from the .ZIP file provided for a new installation as above directly on to the SD card.

4. Insert the SD card into your Digitalk Smart Navi, and enjoy the new and improved look and feel of Destinator 6.
